How do I create a new event through my page now?

In order to create event, you'll need to create events under the "Events" tab on your page in the new format. If you already have events on your page, this tab should already be showing.

If you haven't yet created events through your page, you will first have to add the "Events" tab to your page. To do so, you can click the "+" sign at the top of the "Page Publisher" and choose the "Events" option. You should then see a new tab called "Events" from which you can create and edit page events.
