Once I register a domain, will I own it?

Once a domain name has been successfully registered on your behalf, you will be the
owner of the domain for the duration of the registration period. You will also be
allowed to extend your ownership by renewing your registration.

For any domains hosted with Higher Images, renewal of the domain is done automatically on
your behalf using your payment details. However, if you have cancelled the domain from
our system or have specifically asked not to renew the domain, the domain will be
released to the public at the end of the registration period (.com, .net, .org, and
.info TLDs).

You can check the expiration date of a domain by accessing the WHOIS record from a
WHOIS database (such as www.whois.net).
