How do I see my Google Analytics?

To have built in Google Analytics you must either have a PPC (Pay Per Click) or SEO (Search Engine Optimization Account).  If you do here are the procedures for getting to your Google Analytics:

  1. Log into the Web Marketing Console.
  2. Click on the "Search Engine Optimization" Drop Down item under Products.
  3. Click on the account you wish the view the Google Analytics on.
  4. Click on the tab that says "Monthly Reports"
  5. Click on the month you wish to see traffic for. 
  6. Click on the tab that says "Google Analytics".

This will show you all the traffic for that month. Note: Anywhere you see a Question Mark by take you mouse and highlight over it there is a definition of what that section means.  Information covered includes:

  • Sessions for that month.
  • Total Page Views for the Month
  • Average Session Duration.
  • Average Pages Per Sessions
  • % New Sessions.
  • Bounce Rate
  • Monthly Goals
  • Top Ten Keyword Phrases ( Note: if keyword says (not set) or (not provided) it means that the person doing the session was logged into their Google account so Google will not provide any details on the search terms.  This is part of Google's privacy policy.)
  • Top Ten Pages Viewed
  • Top Ten Direct to Landing Page 
  • Top Ten Cities
  • Top Ten Referrers
  • Top Traffic Type
  • Device Overview (desktop, Mobile, tablet etc)
  • Top Traffic Types (Direct, SEO, PPC, referral, email etc)
  • Goals Completed Break Down.
